We've hit the 20 week mark which means we're half way there! I was so excited during the first trimester that the time seemed to move so slowly. Now I can't believe we've already tackled the first part of pregnancy and will meet da widdle brioche in just 20 more weeks!
The Bump
Not a tremendous amount of growth from last week. However, if you're feeling stuck in the pregnant-or-fat phase, throw a belt around your ribs and pleats over your belly--you'll look pregnant in no time! And thank goodness, too. My feelings get hurt when people are kind enough to say How far along are you now? You don't even look pregnant! I'm sure it's meant as a compliment, but it's hard to always take it as such when you feel so dang bloated.
Gender

Movement
She bumping and grooving now! I feel her most when I'm hunched over my desk at work and crowding her house with my bad posture. She'll squirm and prod me to straighten up. It's completely adorable to me.
And she was a wiggle worm during our follow up ultrasound! Any worries I had about her mobility have been put to rest. Seeing her wave her hand at us on the screen was the best moment.

Development
Baby is about the size of a banana and weighs in at about 11 ounces! Baby is sleeping about as much as a newborn--approximately 12 to 14 hours a day.
Maternity Clothes
Nothing new, but always browsing sales. I'm still making out fine with all my summer dresses.

Food Cravings
Nothing in particular this week.
Sleep
Not too poorly. I'm still able to sleep on my belly comfortably with one leg hiked up.
Baby Prep
Despite specifically telling people This is not a present party, I was given a number of sweet baby gifts at our Gender Reveal. And it was a nice variety of goodies: first year picture frame, bath toys, onesies, wipes carrier, stuffed toys, receiving blankets...all kinds of fun, tiny things that will be so useful in a few months!
